Summer Adventures in the Dunes
Stay near home this summer and discover the amazing natural world in your own backyard by attending summer camp in Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. These week-long adventures include exploration of wetlands, prairies, dunes and woodlands, swimming and beach activities in beautiful Lake Michigan, learning about animals in their native habitats, experiencing native and historic cultures with hands on historic activities, games, arts and crafts, and other fun, educational, and exciting activities. Make new friends, discover the natural world and be a part of the magic of summer camp in a national park.
Dunes Discovery Camp
Come discover your world in the dunes!
Explore rivers, search for salamanders, collect insects, play at a beautiful beach, hike through wilderness, cool off in Lake Michigan, laugh with your new friends, and sing around the campfire. This is the place where you will discover just how fun exciting nature can be at a summer camp like no other. Camp lasts Sunday afternoon to Friday morning.
2012 Camp Cost: $340 ($320 if registered before April 30th)

ParKids Day Camps
At ParKids Day Camps in Indiana Dunes national Lakeshore, every day is a new and exciting adventure. This unique program gives children the opportunity to explore a National Park, interact with rangers, make new friends, and become ParKids. Children will spend their days outside exploring the forests, streams, meadows and trails around special places in the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore.
Preschool camps are for children who have completed one year of preschool up to entering kindergarten
